Elizabeth Adams, Beverly Frisbie,

Ashley Orellana, and Jennifer

Thompson are now FHU

Elizabeth Adams, PE, is a

Senior Transportation Engineer

in FHU’s Denver South office. A Purdue

University civil engineering graduate

who built her entire career at FHU,

Elizabeth is widely respected for

delivering high-quality, innovative

multimodal solutions on complex

projects. Recent projects include

Federal Boulevard BRT, Old Hampden

Complete Streets, and the Watson 

Avenue Roundabout. She consistently

earns high praise from her clients for

her commitment to quality, consensus

building approach, clear

communication of complex concepts,

and dependable delivery.

Ashley Orellana, PE, is a Senior

Transportation Engineer working out of

FHU’s Denver South office and a

Virginia Tech graduate with nearly 15

years of experience. She specializes

in complex corridor and interchange

projects and roundabouts, guiding

teams from design through

 construction while navigating National

Environmental Policy Act clearances,

multiagency coordination, the CDOT

Local Agency process, and securing

grant funding. She values

transforming project constraints into

thoughtful, community- supported

designs that balance improvements

across all modes of travel. 

Beverly Frisbie is the Mountain West

Marketing and Proposal Manager

based in FHU’s Colorado Springs office.

She leads business development,

strategy, and capture efforts across

Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah, working

closely with technical teams to pursue

complex transportation projects. With

a master’s degree in urban and

regional planning and 14 years at FHU,

Beverly combines deep client

knowledge, an understanding of

community mobility needs, and a

strong grasp of FHU’s culture to

help expand the firm’s presence across

the region.

Jennifer Thompson, PE,

MBA, is a Senior Transportation

Engineer in FHU’s Omaha office with

more than 20 years of experience

guiding large-scale roadway and

infrastructure projects. Previously, she

held senior leadership roles with the

Nebraska Department of

Transportation, managing complex

programs and teams statewide.

Since joining FHU in 2018, Jennifer has

provided strategic leadership on major

interstate and arterial projects, helping

clients balance technical requirements,

stakeholder needs, and long-term

system performance.
