Katharine Duitsman, PE | Principal

Kat is a senior transportation engineer in the Mountain West Civil Design group. Her multimodal design experience, attention to detail and reputation for high-quality deliverables make her a client favorite. Kat’s project portfolio spans nearly 20 years and includes geometric and roadside design, drainage, traffic control, erosion control, signing and pavement marking. Her skill set also includes project management and utility coordination for local, state and federally funded projects. As one of FHU’s top project managers, Kat works with a wide range of clients, including local agencies, Colorado Department of Transportation, contractors and developers. She excels at leading large multidiscipline teams and has worked on complex and innovative projects across Colorado, including design-build projects and one of the state’s first diverging diamond interchanges.
