Tom Anzia of FHU

Thomas W. Anzia, PE | Principal

Tom Anzia has been a Principal at Felsburg Holt & Ullevig since 2001 and has over 40 years of civil engineering experience on transportation projects in the Rocky Mountain region, with an emphasis on design projects in Colorado. His portfolio of work across the state is long and includes complex urban interchanges, mountainous four-lane highways, urban arterials, and rural roads that Coloradans travel every day. Tom also started FHU’s rail services in 1998. His team pioneered the introduction of railroad Quiet Zones in Colorado, achieving the first three Quiet Zones approved in the state. They also provide freight rail design and construction services, having completed projects for Class 1 railroads in six states.

As a Principal, Tom’s impact on FHU has been immense, serving as an office facilities manager, contract risk manager, design services program delivery manager, and board member. He is currently the Technical Resource Manager for the Mountain West Civil Group.
