  • ACEC Engineering Excellence Merit Award Recipient
  • Conducted a long-range Access Control Plan for 52-mile long stretch along US 85 to maintain and improve the functional integrity of the corridor (safety, capacity, and speed)
  • Particular attention was given to intersection locations and potential upgrades involving signalization; geometric changes and interchanges were identified.
  • Provided close coordination with the local jurisdictions through a Policy Committee composed of elected officials and a Technical Advisory Committee of local jurisdictions and staff.
