144th Street, West Dodge Road to Eagle Run Drive: Preliminary Design and Environmental Evaluation

- Reduced congestion on this section of 144th Street will shorten drive times and reduce emissions. Bike trails on each side of the road encourage biking and walking.
- Design elements such a colored concrete median treatments, median aprons, landscape plantings, and meandering bike trails create a natural and visually appealing look.
- Five rain gardens created with drought-resistant, native plants filter water and diminish stormwater runoff.
