Monarch Boulevard Extension

Douglas County
- ACEC Engineering Excellence Merit Award Recipient
- Prepared several preliminary alignments for an addition of Monarch Boulevard, the north/south roadway connection for the County
- Conducted the final design of the 2.4 mile roadway and prepared the construction documents
- Coordination meetings were also conducted with Douglas County Parks and Trails to implement a future trail into the design of the roadway
- Two three-sided box culverts were designed that would accommodate this future trail system
